I think his point is, if Pacquiao eats his way to 210 lbs, does that make him a heavyweight? And could he EVER be competitive?

SRL..probably by KO..SRL hand speed was crazy, he had way more power at 147 than Floyd. SRL beat Benitez, Hagler, Hearns, Duran..come on..Benitez was a defensive wizard in the ring.

        My question for you guy's...

Not saying Floyd woul win or lose, just a question...

Did SRL face a fighter with the defense of Mayweather?

As Elusive as a fighter? Benetiz was defensive, but as elusive as Floyd? Who would counter punch, good footwork and speed, and very accurate with timing, just want to know did he face a fighter that was skillwise as good as Floyd? not talking resumes here, just skill/talent.

I dont think he faced a fighter like Floyd but he faced better opposition than Floyd..Benitez..I dont think Floyd ever faced anyone like that, Hearns..Floyd never tasted any power like that, Hagler..Floyd never faced a human tank..and Duran..Floyd never faced a tazmanian devil that would tear you up like that..Im going by the level of fighters they have both fought and the outcome..and thats why I have to say SRL would win and most likely win by TKO.

Benitex was easily more elusive than Floyd. Floyd has better blocking skills though. So yes, he did face as good a defensive fighter, who was also bigger than Floyd with more power.

He also faced much more dangerous overall fighters like Hagler and Hearns. And to throw it back at you, did Floyd ever face anyone even close to SRL's level? Because SRL sure as hell fought fighters at least as high or above Floyd's level, and beat them.

This topic has been done before, and just because he beat Hatton doesn't change a damn thing. Leonard at 147 was just a freak, if you thought Zab Judah gave Mayweather trouble for the first 4 rounds, Leonard would do the exact same thing for 12 rounds and end it with a KO.

                What the ****?

SRL started his career at WelterWeight and moved all the way to Light Heavyweight.

Floyd started at 130, and was even forced to fight a 154lb fight while weighing 148.

SRL and probably by late TKO, in a totally unfair fantasy fight to argue greatness.

If we're talking P4P who's better, I'm leaning towards Mayweather based purely on success alone. You can only beat what your era offers.

I'd give the edge to sugar ray leonard...

They can both do the same... same speed good footwork .. both have good elusiveness...

But Sugar ray leonard definitely hits harder... and throws combinations often.
