The haters...
It is comments like this that annoy the hell outta me. Now all of a sudden Hatton was a "small challenge" & "not that big of a win". Ive seen & heard people adding hatton to the list of challengers that floyd should fight for the past two years or so. Now all of a sudden (since he got his azz handed to him alongside a greasy burger & a cold guiness) he's too small & 147 isnt the wgt class for him. Well mayweather began his career at 130 & cotto at 140..so in theory neither of them are natural welter's. There are several factors that trump perceived physical advantages and that's skill, talent, & a will to win which mayweather undoubtedly showcased sat. nite. The brother displayed every skill there is to the science called boxing, so stop hatin' & downplaying his accomplishments & give the man his props. You dont have to like his persona, but the fact remains that he's the best pure talent in the sport today. Seriously, after watching him pick apart hatton with that varied a skill set..I cant see cotto fairing much better. I dont exactly see him getting kayo'd but a blowout decision is a likely outcome. I suppose if he were to hand cotto his 1st loss you bastards would downplay that also. As far as the money having to make sense..well, if Im in the ring risking my health in bloodsport..I'd want to be compensated as well. These are professional fighters. You mofos are delusional to think that floyd is afraid to fight another man. I dont take nothing away from any of the top guys at or around 147 but mayweather is in a diff class & still very much in his prime. Hate it or love it..it is what it is.
