well maybe is because (for you mayweather was god before he fought oscar) he was making numbers from 300,000 to 400,000 because he's been a champion since 1998 cotto has been in the map since 2004 no matter how u want to interpreter FLOYD GOT RECOGNIZED IN HIS FIGHT WITH DE LA HOYA.
Mayweather, Cotto Camps Trade Verbal Blows

No I do not. My argument was never about Floyd and his ability to draw. It was about Cotto and his ability or lack thereof. My statements from the beginning were that Cotto was not a huge PPV draw.
Mayweather is now, regardless of who he had to fight to get there. He is a household name now, and that makes a big difference.
Oscar is a household name.
Cotto is not a household name. Everyone does not know who he is or what he has accomplished to make him worthy of any fight.\
My original post stated this;
"Floyd and Arum have been at odds for years now. Floyd does not want to work with Arum, and understandably.
However, I am certain Floyd is not afraid of Cotto. Floyd would beat Cotto.
I'd like to see him take this fight, though. Just to silence the usual jeerers. I believe they will fight, if the price is right. Cotto is certainly not a huge draw right now."
It was not about Mayweather and his ability to draw. It was about Cotto and his inability to do so.Comment

You have a hard time comprehending. That's not my point. Mayweather is recognized the world over as both the proven better fighter than Cotto and as a much bigger ppv attraction. There's nothing to stimulate Mayweather for this fight; nothing besides fans demanding it. It does nothing for his legacy and nothing for his bank account. DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?well maybe is because (for you mayweather was god before he fought oscar) he was making numbers from 300,000 to 400,000 because he's been a champion since 1998 cotto has been in the map since 2004 no matter how u want to interpreter FLOYD GOT RECOGNIZED IN HIS FIGHT WITH DE LA HOYA.Comment
