i think Cotto is a great fighter im a real fan but IMO Cotto is to 1 paced to beat Floyd as for Williams the guy has proved nothing yet we dont know anything about him really ,Margarito pointless talking about him wide decision for PBF ,Cintron is nowhere near good enough

Molsey is to old his reflexes have slowed down he is not the same fighter

does he want to be the best? or does he want to "make history" like Pernell Whitaker.

That is the question. Making history by unifying the belts leaves no questions and puts Mayweather truly in a class by himself. Undefeated and unified?? Holy ****.

The first test is obviously Cotto.... Cotto stands in the way like a mountain IMO. But, Floyd is a gifted mountain climber. NOW Floyd's career starts to become very interesting.

Have Cotto beat Margarito and on the same card have Williams beat Cintron. Then in November Cotto and Williams can unify and Mayweather then in early 09 can fight the winner to unify them.

However...I think the inactivity wouldn't be good and he should just unify with Cotto in June, but he wants to take a break so probably November/December.

cotto can williams can and floyd can
floyd will let the other two do the dirty work
              while he's on vacation
then he tries to steal the thunder at the end.

Yeah I think that too. I'd think he would also beat Cotto and destroy Cintron.

I know Cintron hits like a monster and is freakishly tall. He's just inexperienced and couldn't deal with Floyd's ring craft. It'd be like Corrales vs Mayweather all over again.

Except Floyd wouldn't be the only one crying after the bout.

Floyd deserves his little break. But he is not better than Sugar Ray, Ali, or Roy Jones if he retires at 30.
Roy Jones? If u ask me Floyds more of a legend then Jones,Floyd has beaten the better fighters and moved up 5 divisions in doing so,Jones Fought Hopkins and Toney, other then that,he aint got no great victorys,Jones was known to fight alot of weak outclassed fighters
