It makes perfect sense that Mayweather is going to retire when he has not fought the best 147....COTTO!!

u know what, i hated mayweather so ****in much before this fight. i wanted hatton to knocked his out more than anyone on this site and i truly mean that. However, after last night i realized mayweather is a beast and i can't take that away from him, the guy is a freaking beast. also i think he may actually be a nice guy too cuz the way he treated ricky afterwards seemed genuine to me, he probably just acts like a ni**er because to get ratings and hype in a fight. However again, although he is a beast and is the best fighter in the world without a doubt, if he wants to become one of the best of all time (which i do not think he is) he has to face cotto, williams, mosely, cintron, and fighters of that magnitude and then maybe he can be considered as one of the best! u mayweather ***s who are obssesed with him know this, hatton is good but is small and almost got decapitated by collazo, let mayweather face a true big welterwieght challenger. DLH was old and still did good, i actually think mayweather would beat cotto since cotto is slow as **** and he wouldn't be able to hit floyd, but let the fight happen to see. I think williams has the only real good shot, and i think he would beat floyd.

cottos chances of a victory would be slimmer than hattons. he wouldnt be able to pressure mayweather at all in the fight. floyd would pick him apart at will.
cottos chin is very suspect also. if mayweather hurts him, its lights out. the only way to beat floyd is to knock him out and cotto wouldnt be able to do it. bet if the money is right, floyd would fight him.

all cotto needs to do is fight a paced fight.
out jabbing floyd like he did mosley and win as many exchanges counter with the left hook when floyd jabs to the body.
            he can win.

If Cotto can beat Mosely, he can beat Floyd. That's established. Whether or not Cotto would actually beat Floyd is another matter. If Floyd ducks Cotto, the respect he just earned against Hatton will quickly evaporate. Fighting Cotto is a must....even if it's the last fight of Floyd's career.

Floyd is just in a league of his own. Zab outboxed Cotto for a good 3-4 rounds prior to the lowblows. Floyd will outbox Miguel for however long the fight lasts. Cotto is not the relentless pressure fighter that everyone thinks he is. And that's what you need against a guy like Floyd. Miguel works best off counters , unfortunately, he won't be beating Floyd at his own game!

Miguel's best shot is when Floyd's on the ropes being cute.

every mother**** in the business does that same thing.

also Cotto needs Floyd more than Floyd need him.

Zab is the best boxer for 10 sec in a round he is really inconsistance compared to Floyd and not focused.

The low blow that Cotto given was on purpose because he knows Zab is not a focused fighter.

Cotto will wait. Who else in the division besides PBF and DLH will bring Cotto money and credibilty?
