i have to admit mayweather shouldn't be taking a vacation. he should be prepared to sign up for his next fight. a fight with cotto would be huge.

Wake up people! Cotto would knock Mayweather out! Let Mayweather take his vacation. A real champ like Cotto will clean up the division and show the world what a real champ is! A fighter who will face anyone!
WELL TELL HIM TO CLEAN UP THE DIVISION, AND UNTIL THEN SHUT THE **** UP.

this is obviously just semi-retirement until the right offer comes along and i think PBF can get away with this because he will stay in shape anyway.

if cotto wants floyd his handlers will just have to put out an opening offer and let the negotiation start just as team hatton did...then maybe this time next year we'll have PBF - Cotto at MSG!

I think Cotto has the best chance, but i still dont think thats enough, after last night, and how Floyd make so many changes in the fight,i think he will outbox Cotto,Cotto isnt fast enough to catch Floyd with a knockout punch,Mayweather will get the points

I don't think Floyd should face Cotto anymore, he did too good against Hatton to be cornered into a wall and basically forced to fight again, he's in a space where he can leave and no one should be mad,I was 1 guy on here who was REALLY rallying for this fight and YES I still do think Cotto would whoop his ass but it isn't about that, Floyd paid his dues and nothing can be taken away from his legacy, many doubted and many were wrong and throughout the whole time he always stayed the same, I think he EARNED the right to walk away from the sport without recieving backlash.. Miguel Cotto will just have to fight the other guys and make his mark beating them, there are many other great pay days and great fights for Cotto so he should just be easy, NO ONE (including myself) should be able to say something bad about Floyd for walking away after such a great career.. 100

Thank you, I hope Cotto can get rid of Arum so they can make this fight happen, Cotto should just call out Mayweather instead of hiding behind his promoter.

Floyd has 1 year to make this fight or pray that Cotto loses while he ducks him....I hope he doesnt think that beating Hatton propelled him past ray robinson

Hatton is a good fighter (above average)
Cotto is a very good fighter
Mayweather is one of the greatest of all time...

I like that fight to happen, because like I stated before, Cotto is the only one I would give a chance... give a chance doesn't mean he wins, but he has a chance because of the jab... but... Mayweather would win, becaus eif you noticed... if Cotto uses his jab, he ain't that dangerous in the inside, because he moves in, and has to throw the right hand first... Cotto is at his best when he comes in with his left hand, but that's not going to happen if he ain't starts it with a jab, because Mayweather will clock him when he comes in without a jab... so... it's a clear thing to me... Cotto would have to fight the biggest fight in his life, strategic wise... power doesn't do it in this fight, believe me... Floyd is to damn good, even for Cotto... but let it get juicy... Cotto is still learnin, he wants to fight the big names... so he learned a lot from Mosley in the ring... and he will learn a lot in the future... and if he keeps his 0 intact... then if Floyd is going on with fighting, he has to fight him, because that's the only big money might that there's going to be in about a year

So chill, drink some tea... and let it get juicyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Cotto, Mosley, Williams, Clottey or any other top welterweight poses a threat more then Hatton did, yet were suppose to give this guy props for his win against Hatton? Please what a cherrypicking fraud.
