How so, hattons offense is pretty good(though hatton leaves himself completely open when he goes offense, something cotto doesn't do) but his defense is rather ****ty compared to cottos. Cotto has a great jab. Cotto is good in the defense and offensive part, he will win.

i give cotto the best chance out of all the welter weights but i'm not sure if he can beat mayweather either

I'm really suprised Mayweather was able to turn the tables against Hatton, doing what Hatton promised. I didn't really have any respect for Mayweather for a long time, but it's definitely back.

I stand firm on Cotto pulling an upset against Mayweather though and I think Mayweather's knock out of Hatton only makes this fight more exciting. This fight seems to be happening exactly the way I posted earlier this week: Mayweather retires, Cotto unifies the division until there's either no more fight left for him at WW and moves up or Mayweather fights him. Mayweather during that period will criticize any win of Cotto and will see Cotto grow until he decides to fight him himself. I'd rather see it happening sooner than later, although Cotto will draw more money with more belts around his waiste

Anyone who believes Mayweather's BS is a sucker. He will never have the balls to face Cotto, or anyone who has a real chance to beat him. How can you rate him #1 if he refuses to face real threats.
