I'm not saying Hatton would have won but for the ref. I'm saying what happened. Floyd was great. It was just a bad night for the sport.

Yes, but not to the degree where it changed the fight completely.

It was a sad night for the sport.

IT shows that corruption rules the world. It showed me that self absorbed, selfish people can be better then you.

This was good guy vs. bad guy. And the bad guy won.

Hatton was fighting pretty desperate after the point deduction. I felt he was fighting pretty loose and with alot of movement early on in the fight.

Obviously Mayweather adjusted well and broke Hatton down, but a great ref you aren't supposed to see.

Cortez was part of the action.

Atleast it was a knockout. If it went to a decision, I would have never forgiven Floyd. He would have participated in 2 of the biggest fights ever, and 2 of the biggest stinkfests ever. Both in the same year. Which consequently other than Floyds fight has been a pretty damn good year for boxing.

Unfortunately one stinkfest can wipe out a great year. Especially when its the last fight of the year.

You guys are such blubbering *******.

I agree the ref got too involved early on, but Floyd beat him fair and square. Ricky was walking right into Floyd's punches (nearly got knocked down by it, then eventually did - leading to the TKO) and it eventually got the better of him.

This is the key word here. Hatton should have been able to adjust to the point getting taken away. Hell, Billy should have calmed him down or something.

I'm not saying it didn't effect him because it did, but Floyd did an excellent job tonight so we should be focusing on that then Joe Cortez's "****ty" job. The only part where I thought he was really ****ty was in round 2 calling like 3 time outs. Other then that, he'd yell at them, but still let them do ****.

Hatton was at fault for taking on a fighter that was on too of a higher level then he is.
