This may sound like sour g****s but I dont think Joe was that professional.

Floyd would of won anyway, but I dont feel like he let Hatton fight enough. Very frustrating to watch as Hatton was doing well in my mind, and Cortez kept taking his entire fight from him at different times breaking them at the absolute worst times possible.

The point deduction like that in a major fight was not the right call in my mind, rather than give him a stern warning because Floyd did turn his back.
To take a point that fast almost justified the way PBF put his arm around the ref at the end.

Legitimate stoppage but he did not let Ricky fight his fight. Am I wrong?????

Get the **** outta here. NO REF would let that level of clinching and roughousing continue.

And you specifically said that Cortez would be to Hatton's advantage, since he was lenient towards that. So you can only imagine what Nady would've done.

The English team disguisted me when Hatton got a point decucted,they where complaining,saying Hatton didnt even land,so what if he did or not,Floyds head went outside the ropes,Hatton turned around,and clearly punched Floyd right at the back of the head,i dont know if it landed hard or not,but u just cant do that,Joe said before the fight,if he see's and obvious foul,he wont give a warning,he'll take a point

HBO was saying the same thing, and I agree with them, it wasn't intentionally hitting him behind the head.

You are right on the money.Floyd would have won regardless but this should be the LAST match that Joe does.

Wow, he really knows how to spoil a fight. Not only did he jump it to say break every time Ricky even feinted anything resembling a forward motion, but he blocked the camera for 70% of the fight.

Seriously, its like the guy practiced walking around and obscuring our view of the fight.

My fight party was full of drunk men screaming their heads off at Joe Cortez to get the **** out of the way.

On another note, another perfect fight analysis by me.

Cortez screwed it up big time......I had a bad feeling about him.

guess what guys, after so many warnings come the point deductions. so the point taken away was fair. most the fight was infighting so hatton had more then enough room to try to make his fight
