Oooh yea, would not it be to better off for the black people to remember that since the times of Roman Holy Inquisition the entire ***ish population was ran off it's land(in Spain) and during the 400 years that the blacks were ******, most of these people(around 90%) were killed, and that is not even taking into account the 20th century. So, slavery was bad, no doubt about it, but dislocation of the whole ethnicity with a subsequent slaughter(just like the native americans) is worse.


And don't even let me start on the native americans and the chinese.

My own race? Which is what? I dont recall saying. But I see nothing racist about it, Not sure if youre in America or not, but a black person using that phrase doesnt sound racist to me. Not like Cal is the first white male Hop would be facing, if so how come we never heard he was a "racist" before? Cause he isnt, if you cant understand its all to get in Cal's head maybe you shouldnt watch boxing, because Ive seen worse than this. Take it with a grain of salt, Hop doesnt know Cal personally so he doesnt hate him.

I said before, I know that Hopkins is doing this for the fight, but it IS getting to some people like it or not, and the way a lot of people are saying it's no big deal, it's not nearly as racist as calling someone a ******, it is disrespectful.

Yeah instead of enslaving the Native Americans, we killed them of. Who got it worse? Chris Rock and I agree they got the less favorable deal.

It isn't a comparison game, but yea, in that light the Native Americans got the bad end of the stick. But, I don't see what makes that or any other travesty normal and not anything to point out as having a potential impact given whatever circumstances thereafter.

Yes you can. It can easily be perceived psychologically as an expression of self-hatred. For instance, male slave's genitals were literally cut off at the slightest sign disobedience while male slave masters slept with numerous female ****** at a time. Why would you tamper with someone's balls and have sex with "animals" unless you truly hated yourself? Did these said "animals" want to sleep with you?

Of course it was true, however you exaggerate a bit to make a point. ****** were seen as property yet in census reports were considered 3/5 human being. A lot of southerners cheated the census for their own benefit ad that was becoming a problem. Anyways, yea..

In America Bomber? are you sure? Even if we talk the world, no other continent has been used and abused like Africa. Not only America participtaed in slavery but Portugese, England, France, and on and on. And they have been doing so for centuries. No ther culture can say they have suffered like blacks at least not here in America.

I am gonna answer Sonofisis first.
As the point I stressed, the slves were considered to be animals(or more like commodity) and while what you are saying might be completely true, this is nothing new, we do the same with our cats and dogs.

As for the 3/5 compromise it was done solely for the political purpose of representation in the congress, as the slave state just did not have as many whites to have any serious representation in the house of represantatives.

Next to the cartdawg, read my post about what was done to the ***s in the last five hundred years. Oh, and don't forget the south american nations. They were something like 95% killed by the explorers, can you compare Africa to that?

Even if he does mention that, it still doesn't equate to the suffering of Africa and the **** and murder of its people, land, and resources. Since there were boats, the land of Africa has suffered due to other races. And I'm not trying to minimize the struggle of the ***ish or any other culture or ancestry. I'm just emphasizing the pt that the continent and people of Africa has suffered greatly in comparison.

I said before, I know that Hopkins is doing this for the fight, but it IS getting to some people like it or not, and the way a lot of people are saying it's no big deal, it's not nearly as racist as calling someone a ******, it is disrespectful.

Thats the thing, why is it getting to everybody? He said it to Cal not to every white person. I take it as more or less something to say about whites and boxing in the modern era, there have been far better black talent IMO. So if I heard a white guy say no way a black guy is beating me in golf and he explained to me that well he doesnt know any black guys that play golf well Id kinda understand. Besides what any fighter says shouldnt be taken at face value, a guy can lose their life in the ring. Of course they are gonna get whatever edge they can its common sense. Hop is trying to do the same thing he did with Tito, put the pressure of a whole country on that fighter's shoulders, it almost literally is too much pressure to handle. To fight in that other man's country and you have your own countrymen telling you you have to win for us, he has disgraced us with his comments. He is basically trying to let this hinder Cal mentally which is not hard to do, with how long the fight would be from now. Imagine all the calls Cal has gotten since Hop's comments.
