I dont see it , Pea only had 40% stoppage while Floyd has 80% , something doesnt add up and my guess is that Floyd is not the runner he is made out to be , they showed a couple of Peas fights here the other night Cardona , McGirt and Hurtado , and in all three Pea was on the backfoot the whole fight , boxed brilliantly but he wasnt standing in front of them thats for sure ,, Im not saying one is better than the other both are great boxers , I just find it ironic that some guys will wrap Pea and then bag Floyd .

Pernell fought at 135 and above. Floyd's KO percentage since he left 130: 4 out of 11, = 36.4%

And Peas at and above 140 was 4 out of 18 with one of those being Ben Baez with a record of 7 fights for 4 loses ,,,, the point Im making is Floyd has more take you out in his fight game than what Pea had and thats not taking anything away from Pea who was a great fighter .

See the sig and look what Chavez did to many fighters while standing right in front of them.

Whitiker clowned way to much in this fight instead of trying win. Anyone notice Whitiker fought and came forward on Trinidad, but didn't do the same with Delahoya..

Now I'll comment while keeping Mayweather in mind.

When Pernell Whitaker knocked people out, he knocked them the **** out. What do Jake Rodriguez, Juan Nazario and Diosbelys Hurtado have in common? You should know this.

This is where competition comes into play.

Mayweather knocks his opponents out by beating them submission because he is that much better than they are. N'Dou, Corrales, Bruseles, Gatti, Mitchell...none of those guys got knocked out cold. They just got knocked around until someone stopped the fight or they quit (in N'Dou's instance).

Whitaker consistently fought better fighters throughout his career too. That has something to do with the fact that his KO percentage wasn't higher.

Whitaker used his legs more than he normally would against Chavez, but for good reason. That being said, we all know that fight for being one of the worst decisions in modern boxing history.

Chavez had better defense than many gave him credit for too.

Whitaker was pretty much forced to go at Trinidad. He was being eaten alive on the outside and his wild personal life had taken it's toll on him. He just couldn't do the same things he used to do.
