17 from 135 to 154. Mayweather had most of his at 130, and has not had the one punch KO's Whitaker has. Either way, Whitaker was at least as good or better than Mayweather in every aspect, and has achieved things Mayweather still has a long way to go before achieving.

You don't know what you're talking about, I suggest you just stop trying.

If only Whitaker provided some offense in return, he'd have won the fight. It was still a very close fight nonetheless. Whitaker proved that if you neutralize DLH's left hand, he's half as effective.

" Sugar calls Mayweather as "close as there is alive to Pernell Whitaker," defensively, while Hall of Fame trainer Emanuel Steward, who will work Saturday's fight as an analyst on the HBO Pay-Per-View broadcast, said Mayweather has a feel for the defensive game that few fighters have ever had. "

Not a bad read if your interested .

lol Thats a perfect visual answer to why you don't chase people who are renowned for thinking defense first when they're in the ring.

LOL, I see now how it looks in type. What I was saying is that Oscar doesn't have an effective plan B. His right hand doesn't pick up the slack when his best weapons are neutralized.

Exactly, you're supposed to step back and let them follow you then bam. Or punch them back up and they follow you. But Delahoya was young and he wanted the ko or at least put some hurt on Whitiker, he didnt' want to make it a tactical match or at least so much a tactical match.

Exactly, keep puttin leather on them..even if its a fast but weak punch. Make them feel like they're losing points. Try to get them to actually fight.

But yeah, Oscar was the KO machine back then, and he knew if he landed flush on that midget he woulda knocked em straight into Lampleys lap lol. So you can't blame Oscar for bein over agressive.
