Does a good personality makes you a better boxer In the ring?

Does been the most likeable person outside of the ring makes you a better boxer in the ring? Does it add to your talent in the ring? Is it part of the skills required by the new generation of boxer to prove how good they're in the ring or not.

That's a ridiculous question, the two have no bearing on each other whatsoever.

Why would you even ask the question? Oh, wait, I get it, it's a sly dig on Ricky Hatton, good one!

Ricky is a very good boxer, and an extremely determined winner in the ring, with great heart, good stamina and decent power. He wins because of his ability. But his marketability is based on his personality outside the ring. You can have popular losers, like Frank Bruno.

No you nutlicker!!! General question for the general fans...Hatton isnt the only boxer in the world and isnt the only one with a good personality outside of the ring...Mosley...Paul williams...Cotto just to name a few...I ask this because of Bob Arum's interview on Williams...Nothing to do with Hatton at all.

But once again you find a way to insert Hatton( your mini-god) in this...people cant bump threads..talk about boxing in general without you twisting it to they're bashing Hatton...Look in my Avatar you idiot..i was in hatton training gym nothing against Hatton but idiots like you are turning him off a genuine fan like me.

I'm calling bull**** on this one. You're asking if being a nice guy helps you between the ropes. I respond that it's an absurd question. You ask me what my point is... So you're really looking for a reasoned discussion on whether or not a boxer with a nice personality makes a more skilled or able fighter than a mean one? You're seriously asking that question?

And then you're calling other people "idiot".

It was a rhetorical question. Everyone knows the answer to the question is NO. That's why he asked it. To prove a point.

What point was he trying to prove? That everybody knows the answer to his question?
