tehres something seriously wrong with your scoring if you really think vargas didnt beat quartey........and i dont like him at all(though i do respect him)....

also even though im a big fan of winky i thought vargas gave him his second closest fight(although wink had some fault in that but w/e.........wink still won clearly)

pipino cuevas was a long reigning wba welterweight champ. like 12 defenses.

in vargas's defense, at least he was competitive with the greats of his era.

pipino was blown out in 2 by tommy and 4 by duran, when duran was 5 years and 3 weight classes past his peak.

great fighter but don't see him as being a HOFer. Fought everyone, never backed down but just didn't come up with the wins.

He might sqeeze in there based on his youngest 154 lb champ and his popularity. But I dont think he's worthy. He didn't stick around long enough (no longevity) and lost all the big fights. Neither do I think beating Winky and Ike are HOF accopmlishments as those fighters are not HOF fighters IMHO. Winky only beat a smaller man in Shane and B-Hop leftovers in Trinidad. He aint done nothin else but bore the **** out of us. Ike didnt do enough, took too much time off, his fault.
