YEAH I LIKE THAT FEELING THAT I GET WHEN I TAKE A PUNCH IT ACTUALLY PUMPS ME UP AND I GET THIS ENERGY OUT NOWWHERE THATS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT BOXING...In a way I can see where ya Dad is coming from. Most great fighters have boxing ingrained into them from a very early age and don't really have a lot of choice about it. But, 16 is still young enought to start. Get into gym, spar some rounds find out if you can take a punch and if you like taking a punch.
I was all set as a teen for a career as a fighter, but I got derailed with girls & substance abuse and got injured doing ****** **** and couldn't go back to hard training when I realised how much I loved boxing. I kind of regert it now for not following through on it. But, I've not a good job doing something I love. But, even if you don't have any real fights, spending time in the gym is great for anyone growing up. It helped give me a purpose and place to burn up bad energy.Comment
