At 140, Hatton didn't want any.

At 154, there was no real champion unless you consider Cory Spinks a better fighter then Delahoya.

    Case Closed.
You really are a funny guy.
Hatton wanted it at 140 , but not until he had the bargaining power to make some big $.
At 147 you have the likes of Cotto , Cintron , Williams , Margerito...who are better than Baldy & Judah and below the age of 32 and in their prime.
Then at 154 he fought Oscar who had fought only 3 times in 3 years at 34 years old...are you trying to tell me Oscar was the best at 154 and in his prime?
Winky Wright could have been an opponent no problem for starters.

The case is far from closed and as yet you and nobody else has named a Undisputed prime champ who he has beaten from 140 upwards.

    Case unsolved.

Dec 8th the case re-opens with the first step in a true test against someone at the top of their game.

I'd say there has been quite a few Boxers who have achieved more than Floyd.
And I don't consider a fighter with losses as inferior either.
That is a hard question for me to answer off the cuff.
The problem with Floyd is he is yet unproven at the higher weights against prime opposition.
Yes he has skill and technique in bundles.
However showcasing them against the likes of Gatti & Baldomir proves nothing when there are fighters in the same division much better.
I would have to say at the moment with regards to a stronger resume you would look instantly to Lennox Lewis who beat allcomers and avenged his losses to boot.
You could say Lennox left no questions unanswered.
Floyd has many unanswered questions on the other hand.
By the way I am not a Lennox Nuthugger either.

That's your way of looking at things. Do you expect floyd to stay at 140 and wait for Hatton to make up his mind?

At the time Floyd fought Judah and Baldomir, Cotto was a protected fighter by Bob Arum. They didn't want any. Perhaps we will see Cotto/Mayweather in 2008 so be patient. Cintron wasn't even a champion at that time. Margarito? He is C + fighter looking for a payday.

Then at 154 he fought Oscar who had fought only 3 times in 3 years at 34 years old...are you trying to tell me Oscar was the best at 154 and in his prime?

You still didn't answer. Do you consider Spinks a better 154 opponent for Floyd then Oscar?

Winky Wright? On May5th, 2007, Winky Wright was at middleweight looking to move up to 170 to fight Hopkins. He was not a option.

Try to keep all this in mind.

Case is closed since you are not offering anything new to this thread but just going on about nothing.

IF HE REALLY WANTED HATTON HE COULD HAVE OFFERED HIM THE PURSE TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.
BUT AS IT DIDN'T MAKE MONEY IT DIDN'T MAKE SENSE AT THE TIME.
I am sure if Hatton was offered the Cheque he is getting Dec 8th he would have taken the fight.

          So what?
They are still better than Baldomir.
Also just because Baldy & Judah were the only ones with titles does that mean they were the BEST?
Anyone with sense KNOWS BELTS MEAN NOTHING a lot of the time these days

Doesn't CHANGE THE FACT THAT OSCAR WAS NOT THE BEST AT 154 does it?
          Keep that in mind

The case is definitely not closed.
Just because Floyd has been fortunate to be dealt a hand giving him poor quality opposition to gain him some paper belts proves nothing.
          NOTHING AT ALL.

AND YOU STILL HAVE NOT ANSWERED THE QUESTION AND CONTINUE TO SPOUT THE AGE OLD DRIVEL.

WHO HAS FLOYD BEATEN IN THEIR PRIME AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME AT 140 147 or 154?

WHO HAS HE BEATEN AT 140 147 or 154 and they were genuinely considered the BEST in those divisions?

Hatton was offered to fight Floyd instead of Zab Judah after Judah lost to Baldomir.....But Team Hatton turned it down. Dios, help me out and post the article of that to shut this **** down.

So what? Just because you view Cintron a better fighter today does not mean people viewed him as good back then. When Floyd fought Judah and Baldomir, they were the best at 147. If he hadn't beaten them, somebody else would have and they would be the best.

            Stop talking nonsense.

At that time he was, unless you view Spinks as a bigger threat. Stop yourself.

Does not answer the question that I am asking of you does it?

              I don't give a **** about this **** you keep quoting.
Boxing Politics is to blame for most of it.

THE TOPIC IN QUESTION IS WHO HAS FLOYD BEATEN AT THE TOP OF THEIR GAME UNDISPUTED AT 140 147 or 154?

Forget all your other nonsense and answer this simple question.

Who has Floyd beaten to make him the greatest of his era or all time?

Moofo you're like a little school girl when it comes to this subject or perhaps any subject. I will give you some time to grow up and then perhaps we can have an adult conversation like two reasonable boxing fans.

                Until then......

Mayweather is gonna beat Hatton question is will he retire after? Hopefully one fight in 2008 for him against Mosley then retirement. He's P4P best in the world right now and he will be after December 8th also.

So IF he beats Hatton you are happy for him to avoid Cotto and fight the man Cotto just beat?

This is the mentality I don't understand from some Boxing fans.
It is almost like they love being short changed.
