Nah. Weight doesn't matter in this fight. Both guys aren't natural welters. Both guys are somewhat out of their comfort zone.

Weight means jack in this fight...

Glove size would make a difference though, I think. With Floyd's girly, brittle, hands, and Hatton doing more damage to the body.

          What are the gloves????

          If they are 10 oz....whatever.

If Mayweather wears winning he is going to go on the backfoot and RUN...

If he wears Grant or Reyes he will stand and trade somewhat.

Why are youg guys making the weight/gloves to be a big issue.

It's funny because all the guys who have never participated in the sport always do so. The stat nerds.

            Gloves and weight dont matter.

The better fighter is going to win December 8th.

They're going to be 10 oz, when they could have been 8 at 140, if contracted in before the new rule.

You don't think glove weight and ring size hurt Hagler when he fought Leonard?

                    No actually.

The fight was close. Hagler chose to lose the first 4 rounds. He has no one to blame but himself.

And this coming from a huge Hagler fan. I never liked Ray Leonard much either.
