Baldomir is better than Hatton so whats the point of this thread? Baldomir is the guy Hatton wanted no part of, dont yall remember that? Sparring with much bigger guys is smart, plus the sparring partners are there to help, so they can emulate the styles of others, and im guessing Hatton's isnt hard to do.

How about if I were to ask the same question but phrase it this way: Who's better, Hatton (43-0) or Pacquiao (45-3), what would you say? I'd pick Pac, and so would MOST boxing scribes. That's the reason he's #2 or #3 P4P and Hatton is #8-10.

Records aside, Hatton is ranked on most all P4P and Baldomir isn't and never should have been. If he was ranked at all it was because of his upset over Zab Judah.. and thats about it. You are right we don't need to go into their records because the fact is MOST boxing scribes would easily pick Hatton over Baldomir. Thats why Hatton is ranked P4P and Baldobum is just that, a sparring partner at best.

Baldobum was the WW champ because he managed to upset Zab Judah, don't make it more than it is.

Hatton tried to set up a fight with Gatti for the simple reason of gaining exposure in the states. It would've been a good matchup considering thier styles. Gatti had a following, Baldomir has none. He was only trying to do what Floyd did. Use Gatti to catch the publics eye.
