Mayweather was able to literally dance rings around Baldomir for 12 rounds in their fight and if Mayweather thinks Baldomir's ability to close down space is on a par with Hatton's then he is in for a big surprise.

Come on, guys, you really can't see why PBF is using N'Dou? Baldi is probably there for his hard chin but N'Dou is a relentless pressure fighter, just like Hatton. He might not be as fast or hit as hard, but Floyd is looking at where the body is and not worrying about the punches. He's probably more concerned about training himself on where to move and time his punches than what's coming back at him at this point.

BTW, Who can Hatton use that will help him get ready for Floyd?

guys, world class boxers dont spar with each other usually. The top guys usually spar with like prospects and veterans, ok guys, they dont spar with top of the line fighters. Oscar training with Mosley for the fight against Mayweather is NOT usual.
In fact, having Baldomir and Ndou as sparring partners is actualy pretty damn good.

Does Hatton still spar with Stevie Johnston? I think he was sparring him for the fight against Castillo. great sparring partner, lots of experience and skill there, even if Stevie is a kind of past it hes still pretty good.

btw does anyone know how much Ricky weighed in on fight night against Collazo?

this is the best answer in the thread, its all a simulation, not an exact replica, i mean, hatton is using i think steve forbes, forbes isnt mayweather yet, hatton is using him, its simulation thats it.

                11 stone 4 pounds (158 pounds). Collazo was 11 stone 2 pounds (156 pounds).

You don't get to be 38-0 with world titles in five weight classes by not knowing who to spar with. Mayweather obviously has his own formula for success and it's suited him well enough so far.

Baldomir is big, and during sparring Baldomir is taking the fight inside and Floyd is finding ways to open up on the inside and e****ially when Baldy/Hatton take that first step inside.
Ndou is just a far above average fighter that Floyd is using to get in effective, good sparring session.

Mayweather's sparring partners are far better and far more credible than Hattons.
