I think that Floyd's career is going to end out exactly like RJJ in the sense that both of them fought some pretty average guys up until somewhat later in their career in which they now take bigger challenges. Floyd has taken 2 big fights in a row, no reason to think he will go back to fighting somewhat average guys again(besides the Cotto comment).

I didnt say he would lose like RJJ, but as far as taking big fights it is very similar...

But no, I dont think he has physical skills above RJJ, but he is more mentally disciplined for sure. Keep in mind that the more you weigh, the harder it is to do that sick lower weight **** that RJJ was doing at all weights.

yea but mayweather is always fit and in the gym, so I dont think he'd end up like RJJ and losing towards the end of his career.

I agree, although if he fights 4 more fights against the best in the welterweight division (cotto, Williams, Mosley, DLH again) he will probably lose one of them. He is a great fighter, no question about it, I just wish he grows some balls and takes some pride in his ring work soon so I can root for him. RJJ probably SHOULD have been more cautious and less prideful to maintain a perfect record, but he had too much pride and honor for that.

you sound like a nit picky spectator...Mayweather has knockouts and lopsided victories under his belt...a lot actually...what more do you want? a daggum MR T opponent??? fans are getting spoiled and unrealistic...Sugar Ray Leonards is praised for some great fights but he had some really bad ones and he ran deliberately at times...Mayweather is now and we all know its not forever so we should enjoy while we can...he is this generation's Ali or Tyson or closest we will ever get....Manny Pacquiao is on his tail though...

He and his incredibly biased fans say he is ATG. Back the talk up, Floyd. Otherwise I would say retire immediately and cash in. Boxing is bad for your health.

And hating is bad for your soul.....

Mayweather wins and he will still get some negativity about how he wins...

Hating? I back up my opinions. You on the other hand make ******ed statements like you second sentence that could just as easily be used to defend John Ruiz.
