Before Pac was well known, almost everyone picked MAB to KO Pac in their first fight.
Then when he fought Morales, he made a good showing despite the cut over his eye. Later, he managed to vanquish Morales twice. Think about this, when Morales went up to face Diaz, did Diaz put the same kind of beating on the old Morales that Pac had done? No.
You have to give Pacquiao a little more credit.

It may be good to remember that nobody beat the old Barrera in the fashion that Pacquiao did in their first fight, except Pacquiao. And it does not seem likely that anybody else can beat the even older Barrera with what constitutes half-hearted effort in their second fight. (JMMarquez brought in his A game a few months earlier and went to the canvass in what was declared by the ref as a slip but was a KD in the eyes of some.)
Also, it may be nice to keep in mind that nobody beat the old Morales in the manner that he was beaten by Pacquiao, other than Pacquiao.
So, Pacquiao must have something....Last edited by grayfist; 11-15-2007, 10:48 AM.
