What does Margarito losing have anything to do with a risk fight? Just because a fighter doens't beat fighter A doesn't mean he can't beat fighter B.

What part of that do you not understand? I get he meesed his shot up but it's not as if Margarito was beat down or embarassed. He was out worked by a long lanky fighter than nobody wanted to fight. Margarito lost zero amount of respect or credibility for losing that fight, there are many fans that still want to see that fight for nothing more than it being potentially and gerat fight between two great young fighters.

Bor, I'm not denying that Margarito lost his chance, if you read the first part of my quote I said that. What I am saying is, that the problem with boxing is we never see the fights the PUBLIC wants to see.

Great fights were never made because of mentalities like yours. You know down deep inside that puerto rican heart of yours that Margarito isn't a smart foght for Cotto.

Put the titles or titles shots aside, it's a fight that STYLE wise would not make much sense. I get that.

Just don't use the excuse that margarito isn't good enough because he lost to an akward fighter, that is long and tall and will give ANYONE trouble.

You are right in saying he doesn't deserv a shot and maybe one day he will get that shot but as a pure boxing FAN, I would just love to see that fight because it would be a war between two proud, young, good fighters.
