This would be a great fight. But DLH lost his last fight.....

Cotto - DLH would be a great fight. I think Cotto would have to come off the canvas to win as DLH does have more power than Mosley and I think he'd catch Cotto a few times when he's coming in.

That being said, There's a reason why Mosley had a difficult time with Cotto: he's just that good. Cotto has good movement and footwork and is able to cut off the ring properly. Mosley was only successful coming forward when Cotto decided to backpedal because he thought he had the fight in the bag. I doubt he'd do that against DLH no matter how he feels the fight is going (he knows he can lose a decision to DLH in Vegas easier than to Shane in MSG). I've been predicting this fight for a while and even scheduled my wedding in Vegas on May 3rd (now my fiancee is saying I can't go even if DLH is fighting Cotto, LOL).

Concerning the Trinidad popularity index, if Cotto is able to KO DLH, which I doubt, his popularity in PR will grow almost to the level of Tito (especially if Trinidad loses to RJJ).

I'd pick DLH by TKO, but then again I also picked Judah and Mosely to do the same..... third time's a charm maybe????

Ehh if they fight, so be it. But I don't even think DeLaHoya can beat him right now. Those quick short shots would probably force Oscar to Box in the later rounds.

He may as well pick Cotto, because Hatton's face is going to get smashed on December 8th...WATCH!!!!!!

Very aware of Oscar's reputation for fading in the late rounds, I think Miguel will be a whirlwind from the gitgo. That is, if the fight happens.

i think cotto and de la hoya would be a hell of a fight to see. i understand why it pisses people off- i completely get that. and it is kind of annoying oscar just gets whatever the hell he wants whenever he wants it.

but i think him and cotto would be a war- and i remember hearing something about oscar wanting to get himself in a real fight like that after losing to floyd in such a disappointing way.

i was put under the impression months ago that oscar wants a war with somebody- and calling out hatton means he wants a war he can win. i don't think oscar could bully cotto around as much as he might envision himself pushing and moving the stubby hatton around.

i think oscar has the style to give ricky a real beating, but with cotto it would be blood and guts.
