He won 7 out of the 12 rounds cleanly and maybe more. Cotto's vaunted 'power' never once had Mosley in trouble, but contrary to what many thought, Mosley had Cotto backing up for at least the last 4 rounds. Mosley kept touching him with something all night, especially flicking that jab in Cotto's face while keeping him at distance and strafing him with the harder shots. Mosley did take more punishment than he's ever taken before, but he deserved to be the victor of that fight, giving a great performance at 36 years old. Just watch the fight without sound, and take special consideration at the last four rounds.....Mosley UD or a Draw at worst.
Clearly your biased for Mosley cause even in the rounds 9-12 Cotto was setting traps and knocking Shane around. Everyone talking about turning down the volume takes away from Shane because the HBO commentary was all for Shane in those last rounds...you guys are ridiculous...face it boys Shane is a great fighter but it was Cotto's night and even Shane admitted it. If he can live with it you guys should too!

Its funny to hear this guys say with the "sound off" because the announcers were definitely pro Mosley except for Steward who was the only one commenting on Cotto.

I'm talking about the crowd mostly man. Miguel would twitch his shoulder to throw a punch and the crowd would erupt even if Cotto just hit air. I don't care how professional a judge at ringside may be, the crowd sways judges. The fight last night was definitely 7 rounds to 5 for Shane Mosley, however the judges were bamboozeled by the ovation of the crowd. It's called inadvertent home-cooking and it was naturally going to happen in a building filled to the brim with Puerto Ricans cheering on their man. Sugar Shane won that fight, it was close but Shane pulled it off.

I thought the crowd was pretty dull throughout the fight. It actually kind of made me mad because I was excited at something and the crowd didn't say a thing.

I wasn't bamboozled by anything and I had it 7-5 Cotto. No question about it. Round 11 was a masterpiece for Cotto.
