the beat for the mosley won drum i presume?
With the sound off, Mosley is the clear winner.

I think Cotto, not because I picked him but because I REALLY thought he won, I had a close seat, the best in the house and we was watching the fight on a ******ly big TV in HD so I saw every single punch, with a view like that I could have been compubox machine because I saw every punch.. Cotto had more umph in his punches, Shane was great as I have said before but when Cotto hit Shane it was almost like it halted Shane for a bit, he would move around and come back, they would have their exchange and a lot of times Cotto got the best of them..
there were a lot of pro Shane fans who felt he won but I noticed that a few rounds they gave to the Sugar man for last half a minute efforts, sometimes with just 20 seconds left and I just didn't feel that some of those rounds could be given to Shane due to that, he fought his BEST, he gave everything Sugar Shane Mosley could possibly give and I respected it a lot but to me the fight was clearly Cotto, Miguel had them shots that stood out, in them close rounds it was Cotto shots that shifted Mosley more..
funny thing is I could barely hear the sound because of all the people and screaming going on, they were playing music and the fight at the same time so as is the fight was already low, all you could see was the punches so I kinda saw the fight already with no sound and I still feel like Miguel won..
one thing I will say is that A LOT of those rounds were close so I could see how someone would have Shane winning but for my eyes and how I score close rounds I say Miguel had more better on the eye punches, he would catch Shane with a JAB that would rock him and hit him in the body in ways that sent him backwards, overall I just think Cotto was more of the aggressor early on and later the more effective Boxer, his jab was amazing, I couldn't believe what he was doing to Shane with it, he literally would shift Shane's face with just 1, he made the JAB look like the strong ass punch I always said it was.. like I said I can see how people would have picked Shane but MY personal scoring criteria found Cotto being the winner. 100Last edited by crillz; 11-11-2007, 03:34 PM.Comment

Piss off man thats crazy!Just watched the fight without sound and if you take the Puerto Rican fans and the over-zealous HBO commentary group out of the equation, Mosley is the clear winner of the fight. He won 7 out of the 12 rounds cleanly and maybe more. Cotto's vaunted 'power' never once had Mosley in trouble, but contrary to what many thought, Mosley had Cotto backing up for at least the last 4 rounds. Mosley kept touching him with something all night, especially flicking that jab in Cotto's face while keeping him at distance and strafing him with the harder shots. Mosley did take more punishment than he's ever taken before, but he deserved to be the victor of that fight, giving a great performance at 36 years old. Just watch the fight without sound, and take special consideration at the last four rounds.....Mosley UD or a Draw at worst.
Cotto won clearly and fairly without question i dont see how there can be a case for Shane to win
