This fight wont be at middleweight. So it shouldnt have that much reflection on the all time middleweight rankings.

And when he does lose all you americans will say that Calzaghe beat a 43 year old!
Most of Hopkins top name victories were against people who had to move up in weight to fight him. This I'm Bernard Hopkins I'm a legend **** is getting boring.

True, but weight doesnt tell the full story, Hopkins has been in the with some of the most skilled fighters of his generation, like it or not. Just cos someone puts on a few pounds to fight, doesnt mean they are a pile of ****.

Example. Even if Winky wright had to move up in weight to 170, he is still gonna be more skilled, than a fight with some average 170 pound bum that no one cares about.

Winky should have stayed at 160 for that fight. He looked, and fought, like a fat piece of ****.

Anybody else think that the press conferences will be funny? It's an interesting fight because Calzaghe approaches fights with an attitude of "I'm the boss, I'm the man, I'm the guy you have to beat". And so does Bernard.

i think bernard is a bit more intimidating though, whereas joe is a nice guy all around and doesnt have that missing teeth prison **** look.

Joe isn't easily intimidated like Antonio "Prison *****" Tarver. If Calzaghe wasn't intimidated in the least by Jeff Lacy then I don't think he'd be intimidated by Hopkins.

Hopkins most impressive wins have come against people who started out in the lower weight divisions.

As others have said, in all his fights he has enjoyed being the bigger man.

I can`t see how he can win this fight.

personally im hoping for hopkins, but after joe beating kessler, i cant see how anyone at the present time can beat joe.. maybe if kessler learns a trick or 2, he could do better.. but aint happening, joe wants the big names now, and rightfully so..

i see joe winning over hopkins, and doing it in a fashion, that would not leave any questionmarks afterwards..

i dont know the exact punchstats for hopkins last opponents, but they are certainly not anywhere near to what joe throws in a fight.. joe is quicker, hits harder, and those who claim hopkins is more intelligent or a better so called ring general are kidding themselves.. joe showed against kessler, how good a fighter he really is, he adjusted and thereby made kessler fight on his terms, and he did it against a man, bigger and much better then anyone hopkins has fought in several years..

joe all the way.. 9-3 or 8-4
