I can't speak about this site in particular, as I wasn't a member back then. But I read various articles about it on the mainstream news organizations websites that had pegged Oscar as a heavy favorite. Of course that's mainstream media, the people who know less about boxing than Stevie Wonder.

Bernard Hopkins is a better fighter than them, yes. If he does in fact beat Calzaghe. He to me.........will be one of the top 5 greatest fighters of all time.

Calzaghe will have to put on a preformance to beat Hopkins.
Bernard has been in their with southpaws before, and he has the size advantage, and was able to control the ring against a much bigger opponent in Tarver, I think Joe will have his work cut out for him.Comment

Also people can talk about the Oscar and Tito being blown up thing all they want to. The fact is.........Oscar showed that he was competitive in the early rounds before getting broken down, and Tito was game as he ever is. It's just that Bernard Hopkins would ****ing beat Felix Trinidad 10 out of 10 times in my book. A crafty, hard knocks cereberal fighter/boxer who uses angles and lateral movement against a (I don't mean to disrespect Tito, one of the ATG's) pretty much 1 dimensional fighter/slugger who was one of the best of all time at that style. He'd just ****ing attack your ass and hunt you for round after round trying to land huge punches and open up. Obviously the boxer can exploit that

Antonio Tarver - superstar? Yeah, when he stars in Rocky Balboa, maybe. But when he's beating up a completely shot Roy Jones without his roids? **** this, if you're gonna put Grover in there, by the same token you might as well throw in Glen Monson cos they both got to be "superstars" the same way - beating up a shot to ****, roidless Roy. This guy is ****. All Bore Hard did was prove how **** he was.
The Blow - Bore Hard is OLD. I know he's a cerebral fighter - he always uses his head - but your list will only be four "superstars", Semi Senor.
