Both fighters are past there peak, Joe will be 36 and this will be his first time fighting an all time great (far to late in his career) and Hopkins will be 43 if he loses (most likely on points, cos Calzaghe hasnt got power at Super middle, let alone Light heavy) people will say he (Hopkins) is shot and would have beaten Joe in his prime and they will probably be right.

I think Calzaghe is still in his peak, he's certainly not past his peak on last fight alone. Calzaghe has proved he HAS power, do you look at his opponents faces after the fights, the camera does not lie !

i dont see or visualize bernard winning, but then again you never know, one thing i know for sure is that Joe will feel like hes been in a fight, bernard leaves no man unscathed.

Everyone keeps making these comments whenever Joe faces a big name. Lacy and Kessler testify to this. Its a load of rubbish.

Regardless. A man of Kesslers ability couldn't trouble Joe-besides a few rounds. I share Joe's confidence. Its not going to be a problem. He is the only fighter in the world that keeps saying he rises on the big ocasions and is the only fighter that keeps his word.

If Nard does in fact win, I'd like to hear first and foremost from you how he's the greatest middleweight of all time, let alone one of the top five depending where you slice him: Greatest P4P fighters of all time regardless of weight.
                  2nd best of all time.

He'll NEVER be better than Hagler.

If you honestly think hopkins is going to stand there absorbing punches and combinations i think you have another thing coming, this is one of the dirtiest fighters of our era who knows every trick in the book when it comes to boxing, hopkins didint get by on quickness or power, he got by on being intelligent and even in his losses, his opponents felt like they were in a fight, comparing lacy and kessler to man of the stature and ring intelligence of hopkins is insulting.

Benard would never beat Joe at any point in his career............... He is also deluded as he thinks he is a legend when he infact has not accomplished anymore than Calzaghe.

Hopkins will be outclassed and doesn't win more than 3 rounds.

And when he does lose all you americans will say that Calzaghe beat a 43 year old!
