I just can't get around Cotto's youth and determination. I have to agree that Cotto could have played it safer before he got his shot at Floyd, though. The problem is that Floyd seems like he won't be fighting Cotto no matter what happens, and of course, Floyd has to get by Hatton first. That's no small chore.
Wiley, you are pretty out there with some of your stuff..

Torres is a ****ing HYPE. You question if Mosley hits harder???

    GET REAL!!

You need your head examined dude. Knocking out cab drivers in bum**** nowhere doesn't mean ****. You can't just babble anything now..

The only people Mosley didn't knock out when he was revving were guys who had only been knocked down or out ONCE or LESS in their entire amateur and professional careers.. And these guys had some skills to avoid trouble.

No wonder you're in perpetual arguments here..

I'm thinking out loud. Is that OK, Addison?
I just re-played the Cotto/Torres fight and that Torres kid threw bombs. I don't know if he hits harder than Shane, but they were BOMBS, and Cotto held it together. That's all I'm saying. I'm not making assertions or claims here. I'm trying to decide on who I'm picking...and frankly I'm on the fence and leaning towards Cotto at this point.

I think weight plays a role in all this, those 5 pounds may not seem like they mean much on paper, but physically I think it's a different story for some fighters. I mean I doubt Torres could take as much power up to middleweight as Mosley can. I don't think Torres' body is built for somthing like that.

I agree, it can be a tough one to call. Cotto use to get rocked alot 5 lbs lower then what he's fighting at now. I mean people called me crazy when I said Pinto stunned him a few times. But now at welterweight, you see him eat Zab's uppercut and if you watch the replay, it barely snapped Cotto's kneck, Cotto recovered and didn't really have any problems for the rest of the night. Buttttt Mosley has been ****in bodies at 147 for awhile, somthin just tells me that those Mosley's hooks will shock Cotto. Those hooks have been gettin thrown to move bodies at 147 up to 154 for awhile..

Yeah, well I called the Pavlik and Calzaghe fights so I guess I'm not too "far out there with my stuff." Geesus Addison.

So far Wiley, all you're doing is picking non-Black fighters to win.

              Even I can see that.

Let's see how your prediction skills hold up a few days from now, hotshot.
