Kessler is a great boxer, but his punch isn't nearly what Pavlik's is. Show me one top 10 contender in his weight class that Kessler has KO'd, because Pavlik has KO'd 2 in his. Pavik would get stopped in the early rounds, because he's there to be hit. And he's by no means a better fighter than Kessler.

boy this is a tough one to predict. On one hand, Pavlik has good power and good boxing skills but Calzaghe is pretty much the man after his dismantling of Kessler. I'd say its 50/50 either way.

no i speak the truth you just can't handle it pavlik would beat calzaghe and easily. calzaghe has no power that is the truth i've seen a bunch of his "ko's" they were all bull**** like the manfredo stoppage thats not a ko. also when he hits people with 1000 punches and they don't fall down thats a good indicator of not having power.

Since his hand problems arose he has adapted his style to protect them, so yes he no longer hits as hard as he did however he stills hard enough to knock his opponent around ala Lacy and Kessler etc. Look at their faces after the fights.

Pavlik is a good fighter but as yet has shown no signs of even being on the same level as Calzaghe, be realistic.
