He has a different view than most of us though, its a free country
Exactly, put it this way, even though im ethnic, i actually get flack for being both black and being able to speak proper english, seriously, black people do ask me sometime why i dont talk one of those fake gangster, bean-headed idiots you see outside those awful fried chicken shops.
Honestly, thats a hard pick. Im gonna go with JMM. I could see how someone would have it for Rafael though. JMM really impressed me when he came back from being knocked down 3x and came back to outbox pacman while suffering from a broken nose. Pac is one of my favorite fighters, and that fight could've gone either way, but JMM showed what it takes to be a true champ that night.
Ill go with Rafeal Marquez, i cant remember the last time ive been so impressed by a fighter, i should have watched him ages ago, the way he thinks, picks his shots, fients, boxes, ****s, the guy can adapt to nearly any situation, and his defence is awesome. I also think bad tactics lost him the fight with vaszquez, i belive he can win the rematch by staying out of range, and boxing his way inside with jabs and right hands, if he does that vasquez can't handle him imo.
Probably Shane Mosley. He can do it all box, brawl, has power, speed, great chin, excites the crowd, not lacking anything in fundamental boxing skills.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is almost complete but he lacks power and doesn't excite the crowd, he's also too defensive. I would say Chad Dawson is also a complete fighter as well.

With that said, u still feel Floyd is a more complete fighter TODAY?
If you take PBF and make him 175 lbs their hand speed would be fairly close.
Hopkins has always had a great chin and is hardly hurt
Hopkins is never cut
Hopkins can cut off a ring
Hopkins can fight on and off the ropes
Hopkins can brawl and box
he has a great defence
he controls the fight
He always fights his own fight no matter what the fans or media think he should be doing.
He has kept his power even while gaining weight.
he has experience
He has size
He takes caution yet is agressive
He's a sharp compact puncher
He moves and stays on his toes
He keeps his chin tucked

Hopkins is a great all around fighter but has been outboxed by Taylor and by Jones. Mosley has been outboxed by Forrest but no one has managed to outbox or outbrawl Joe Calzaghe. At the moment he is the most complete all round fighter in the game today and has made 21 defenses and won all four belts at Supermiddleweight. At the moment he is the P4P no.1 fighter in the world. He can do everything and do it all well, he is fast and throws an incredible amount of punches and has a great chin, can box can brawl and can adapt his style to any situation, he is also exciting and takes risks something Mayweather wouldn't dream of doing.
I'm surprised Joe has got so much praise stateside but there is still a lot of you that won't rate him the best simply because he is not american.
Joe beat better fighters at SM than Hopkins did at Middle, Hopkins beat some greats but they were all blown up fighters not in their natural weight division.
At the moment the poll still has Calzaghe ahead of PBF. IMO though Mosley is more of a complete fighter than PBF at their current weights. Both have stepped up and can do it all but Mosley has a better chance of outbrawling an opponent for a win than PBF does.

Jones beat Hopkins with speed he didn't outbox him.
The Taylor fights were more brawls then anything and no one really had control of either fight.
And even if you lose that doesn't mean that you have a lack of skill in some department it just means that it didn't work out on that night.
I wouldn't in a million years say that Tarver is a better fighter in any way then Roy BUT for some reason Tarver seems to have his number.
So you kind of get what i mean ?

Yeah I get what you mean. Have to disagree though on the Jones vs Hopkins fight IMO he did outbox Hopkins but that's only my opinion.
I don't think Tarver had Jones's number at all, Jones was at the tail end of his career and should never have gone up to Heavyweight and then back down again, that and his age ruined him. Prime Jones at light heavy without moving up then back down again would have blitzed Tarver and Johnson.
