american fans are so ignorant of joe and many have demonstrated that by saying so hasnt any power. Of course its not their fault but it doesnt stop them being an expert on him based on limited knowledge.

For those who think joe has no power, ask Byron Mitchell for one - after being sent into wonderland by joe he said "Ive never been hit so hard and so often" Now who do you think is more credible witness to joe's power - armchair "experts" who watch fights on tv or a guy thats actually been in the same ring as joe and experienced his punches first hand?

Now because of his fragile hands he has had to modify his style and nurse them but that doesnt mean he cant hit hard if he has to. He has achieved everything he has despite this handicap and now has gone unbeaten for 17 years amateur & pro. If he had sound hands theres no telling how good he would be. The biggest compiment joe gets on this forum is those who say things like " a prime time roy jones would expose joe" Wow, it would take Roy in his prime to expose a 35 year old man? - thats how good he is.

calzaghe style of fight is so boring he ****s me. i enjoyed the way kessler hit him in the early rounds shows how vulnerable he is to a good style boxer. the likes of leonard or hagler would have exposed calzaghe because of their fitness. kessler lost his breath too early thats why he didnt throw any punches but any of the older legends like hagler leonard and jones jnr in his prime would expose and knock calzaghe silly.as a boxing fan im not satisfied with that performance.

when Kessler was interviewed on setanta he admitted he was hurt to the body by one of joe's punches, I think he said it was in the 8th round and this prevented him from throwing leather for the full 12. So credit to joe's slaps for that one eh.

Right now I would have calzghe at #3 on the pound for pound list. When he beats bhop I would move him to #2. I'm not a big floyd fan but I can't see how you could remove an undefeated 5 weight world champ from the top spot.

Sorry fellas... he just doesnt. He has no power and slaps from diff angles. Kessler should have wore his ass out but seemed to not like being hit or slapped. He should have not backed up as much as he did and went forward with his straight shot and not have worried about being hit. There is noway those punches hurt him. Also listening to the the commentators ( i forget there names atm) talk about how great Calzaghe is doesnt sit right with me. That all i have to rant about im sure there is another post about this fight i missed but its late time for bed.

His style makes for exciting fights why do you think america wants to see more of him? is it because his style sux!! tell me who you prefer to watch thats still active, If you say bhop then there is something wrong with you as he is boring as hell to watch. no bhop is old now past his prime
but id prefer mosley cotto hatton even mayweather over calzaghe any day
at least there punches look normal. just watch a clip of mosley vs vargas when mosley gave vargas a left hook, it looked awesome no way calzaghe could look that good with any of his punches those slap are too wide to impress. btw **** you
