at least there punches look normal. just watch a clip of mosley vs vargas when mosley gave vargas a left hook, it looked awesome no way calzaghe could look that good with any of his punches those slap are too wide to impress. btw **** you
Did you not see the calzaghe and byron mitchell fight? Joe was on his arse got up and cracked mitchell right on the chin with one of his slaps then another then another then another. looked quite impressive to me mate. whats the matter can't handle a little joke? is thinking of those insults taxing your brain?

That would explain the bad grammar and spelling. I spent quite awhile as a deputy, and found most of the guys I worked with to be ******, unimaginative, power-craving creeps.

Don't start grouping an entire country full of people together. When you talk **** like that you look foolish. Calzaghe probably has as many fans in the US as he has in Wales, maybe more, considering the size of his country.

For those who think joe has no power, ask Byron Mitchell for one - after being sent into wonderland by joe he said "Ive never been hit so hard and so often" Now who do you think is more credible witness to joe's power - armchair "experts" who watch fights on tv or a guy thats actually been in the same ring as joe and experienced his punches first hand?

Now because of his fragile hands he has had to modify his style and nurse them but that doesnt mean he cant hit hard if he has to. He has achieved everything he has despite this handicap and now has gone unbeaten for 17 years amateur & pro. If he had sound hands theres no telling how good he would be. The biggest compiment joe gets on this forum is those who say things like " a prime time roy jones would expose joe" Wow, it would take Roy in his prime to expose a 35 year old man? - thats how good he is.

i can handle insults i just insult u back. i think u calzaghe fans cant handle the truth, calzaghe slaps can look ameture at times. calzaghe may have a good heart a solid chin but his ***** slaps and boxing style **** it up. you guys talk about him being all that but if you compare him to other great fighters his style looks **** to me. honestly i sometimes wonder what you guys see in his style. its like a little kid throwing wild shots.

technically calzaghe does not throw a punch right. now ive trained in a boxing gym and i know thats not how you throw punches and no trainer ever teachers a boxer to throw wide shots. tell me of one world champ in history that throws punches like calzaghe. just watch sugar ray robinson unbelievable boxing technician such a delight to watch the way he throws his punches. calzaghe just looks like dud i cant understand you guys see in his style.

i swear early in the fight kessler made his punches look so ameture like. all he did was jab his way out of the tough few rounds becuase he has good hand speed. but i didnt see no flurries because against good fighters they take advantage of those wide ***** ass slaps with right crosses and uppercuts. because he exposes himself.
He nullified Kessler and made him respect his power. So those "wide ass ***** slaps" must have something behind them. In fact there were relatively few slaps in that fight compared to other ones, so it's another case of internet warriors hearing things about a fighter and running with them, instead of watching the fight.

Ok you don't like his wide punches because you don't think it looks good, but if it works and he wins all of his fights using it then who cares. it makes for exciting fights. I can't think of one fighter that fights like calzaghe, but what's that got to do with your point? it works for him and it's entertaining and that means big tv money and bigger fights.

calzaghe is very very good and there are only a few people out there that have a chance of beating him anyone that says he is **** are ******.
but i have to admit for some reason i find him annoying not his boxing style but just him. i would love for someone to ko him.
The only people at light heavyweight that would have a geniune chance of beating him are hopkins because of his rough style. and dawson because of his southpaw stance, fast hands and very good combos. those are the 2 fights i wanna see next year.

Calzaghe and Dawson wont happen unless Chad turns into a cash cow overnight.
