Floyd defeated Corrales when he was undefeated and one of the top 10 p4p fighters and one of the best at super-feather.

Difference is Floyd didn't stick around until a Mikkel Kessler emerged out of nowhere, he moved up to a new divison and persued other champions.

I really don't see any reason why Mayweather couldn't continue to be a top 10 p4p fighter well into his mid and late 30's. With his discipline and conditioning I don't think it's too far of a stretch to see him beating Champions at Calzaghe's age.

That's only if he wants it of course.

He won't have to fight Cotto because he will get prison ****d by Mosley who is a much better fighter then Cotto even at this point of his career.

Williams? We'll see......he still has to beat Cintron first.

I think he could take both fights, Mosley and the winner of Williams/Cintron. I mean it would unify the division and I know he would want that on his resume.

Yeah Floyd should stay at WW at unify and dominate that division for several years.

He's got a style for longevity, and discipline, but he will lose his speed.

It would be an aberration, and not something that you should expect.

Maybe if he was at his natural 135/140. But as he slows down, he can't fight those monsters in the WW division. Do you see the size of Margarito/Cintron/Williams/Clottey/Berto?

PBF should have three more fights: Hatton, the Cotto/Shame winner and then drop down and give Witter the payday that the skinhead won't.

Yeah, I can agree with that argument. Gaining extra fat is probably less detrimental to a heavyweight. Not sure about cruiser on down though. When a heavier guy has a drop in metabolism, he's going to put on a lot more weight than a little guy would, and is going to have a hard time taking it all off to make weight.

Which just shows you are refusing to see the point of this whole thread.. MOST boxers start to decline in their 30's By the Mid 30's most are done ... save for Heavyweights who have never relied on their speed anyways..
SO by your last post.. you are admiting that Floyd wont be "Dominating other champs, and unfying Divisions at age 35 almost 36"

                    Thank you very much..

There is no way Floyd is still beating anybody at 35 years old. He'll be long retired by then because he didn't wait until 35 to start fighting worthy opponents.
