Someone who is 5-8 w/ a 73 inch reach belongs at 140-147, particularly at this stage in his career.

Short of the hype? If being the best boxer in the world is falling short of the hype then what was he hyped to be?

In the past year or so...Joe fought and DOMINATED TWO undefeated PRIME champions. IN HIS WEIGHT CLASS.

fLOYD would have to fight and dominate Cotto and Williams to match that. DONT COUNT ON IT.
Prime lacy only had about 22 fights goin into the Joe fight he is no where near his prime he is still green, and he didnt dominate the other nite he won a good fight were the other guy won 4-5 fights of the fight and kept it a good fight all the way, and joe pity patted his way to a win, much life floyd did against oscar

Height and arm length have little to do with how much a person weighs, when compared to body build. C'mon, stop with the bull****. Its funny that you haters will say anything to justify your arguments.

ACTUALLY weight has little to do with what weight division is best for you --->see curtis stevens.

Yes Curtis stevens has a large frame. He is big boned. If he could fight at welter he would. It's his disadvantage. Tyson was 5'11 and a heavyweight...luckly for him he was born with a heavyweight punch.

Floyd Mayweather.........not so much. In training camp the guy doesn't worry about weight since he is already on weight while Ricky Hatton is still working on getting down to 147lb.

i recieved a PM from Bodog. i found this quite interesting..

"Calzaghe has spent a great deal of time turning down fights and has never really maximized his position, at least on a worldwide basis. He hasn't really fought what could be termed a "who's who" of the other competitors in his division; indeed, you could list a number of guys he did not fight, including Markus Beyer, Sven Ottke, Anthony Mundine, Danny Green, Antwun Echols, Mads Larsen, Frankie Liles and others. Of course, some of that had to do with promotional conflicts, but it also has to do with the culture of the WBO, which allows a fighter to do that indefinitely if he has the right connections. I mean, when they let you fight the likes of Tucker Pudwill and Branko Sobot and Peter Manfredo in title fights, you are getting a free ride, for sure."

welter, why do u hate americans doode? talking about our US doller being ****, and china taking over.. ect.. whats that all about.. relax my man.. this it BOXING.. u seem to be upset. The FACT is, the US has produced far more great fighters. Period.

JC is a great fighter. i was very impressed..

were not here to discuss politics.. were here to talk about Boxing.. remember that
