Welter my budd, what p4p fighter has Calzaghe beaten again?Comment

I was just giving you credit in my head for being the one Floyd boy who actually judges fighters by skill and performance, with your own eyes, rather than chatting it up about names and resumes all day. Don't stop now.Comment

So far everyone has except BlackJesus has dodged the question.. and blasted me with "Convert to Floydism,Or face eternal Damnation" Rhetoric..
Who says smaller guys age faster??? Please provide me a Link.. some sort of scientific proofComment

Joe Calzaghe won a vacant WBO title 10 years ago and has been defending it quitly back at home for years and years. Now it's 2007 and he has finally unified.....great for him.......nothing special.
Some fighters choose to move up in weight as much as possible and become multi-division champs and some choose to stay at one weight and defend their title their entire career.
Different career paths between Joe and Floyd.
Floyd is the greater fighter right now.......ask any Boxing historian........not even close.
Floyd is being discussed on the ATG lists. They're debating where they should place him at..........Joe is nowhere near that.
Joe is one of the if not the best Supper-middleweights of all time. All-time greatness.........nowhere near the top 50.
In the past year or so...Joe fought and DOMINATED TWO undefeated PRIME champions. IN HIS WEIGHT CLASS.
fLOYD would have to fight and dominate Cotto and Williams to match that. DONT COUNT ON IT.Comment

WS, at the lower weights, 31 is old. At Heavyweight, 31 is just getting started. It's a pretty steady scale between. I could give examples, but not scientific proof.Comment

As a boxing fan, if you have to ask for proof that smaller fighters peak/age earlier than bigger fighters, then it's really not worth discussing.Comment

It's common sense and knowledge by now. What are you a Tobacco Lobbyist that there is no direct evidence that Smoking causes problems to your health.
Heavyweights - a 30 year old fighter is considered a young fighter at that division
Fly/bantam/featherweights - At age 30 most are considred over the hill. That's why fighters at lower weights start their pro career early at 18 so they have more time to get things done before they lose their ability.Comment

Never mind that it is at the weakest division.
Floyd can stay at 135/140 like cal did and run through everybody. What does that prove??
Joe beat Jeff Lacy and Mikkel Kessler. He is the new Sugar Ray Robinson. Cong****. Add a Calzaghe wing in Canastota.
And that was no domination last night. Not even on YOUR card.Comment
