sorry but hes not ... on the countdown they are tryin to make it look like cotto carries Puerto Rico on his back ...Trinidad has fought some legendary fights ...

i got a few puertorican friends and they all seem to have said **** trinidad since he lost to winky ...

but trinidad is an exciting fighter ... and has a few good fights left in him ...

Trinidad vs Vargas is probably still the dopest fight i have seen to date.

after cotto loses to shane mosley .... cotto will just be another trinidad clone that failed

how many off these have failed?
cotto is a better boxer than tito, tito overwhelmed his opponents with power.tito fought legendary fights, starting from the time he was 27[oh which happens to be cotto's age]cotto is on his way to those legendary fights,it's mosley floyd then cintron or williams.

Trinidad Vargas, is the best fight you've seen?

Anyway.. Cotto is a very good fighter. If he beats Mosley, he could be on his way to surpassing Trinidad, in terms of career accomplishments. (He wont on that night, but ON HIS WAY)

Cotto, dare I say it, has better boxing skills then Tito, overall, when he chooses to actually use them. His fights aren't boring, by the way.

Not really. They said the exact opposite. They even said he wasnt the most beloved guy in Puerto Rico, Tito was. And that Cotto didnt really seak out the celebrity status or the spotlight. Him and Tito are polar opposites. Cotto being a shy reserved guy, and Tito being a charismatic overly friendly individual. I disagree with them when they say he doesnt fight for Puerto Rico though.

Cotto does have better skills than Trinidad imo, but Trinidad is blessed with better physical tools. Long lanky body, and a left hook that you can only be born with. Cotto is usually seen as the stronger guy, and he puts on ten pounds after the weigh-in, but at the end of the day he's still 5'7 with short arms. He has less to work with, and he does OK.

this is why i think miguel will be a legendary fighter.all they do is try to discredit him.low blows this he puts on a lot weight after the weigh in.
                yeah.

Well he probably hasnt reached his prime yet.

And Trinidad has beat some legends sure, but none are as great or as legendary as Mosley (except whitaker) so we will see. If Cotto prevails then he is the new great puerto rican fighter.

However, Cotto-Trinidad at 147 is a blowout IMO. Trinidad is one of the hardest punchers of all time at the weight class, he was big and very strong. TRINIDAD KO7
