What are you talking about, I have read a lot of Cotto articles and boxing experts have compared him to Jake LaMotta. Even the great Dan Rafael said this on espn.com, most writers think that style will also get him exposed. I guess you think the boxing experts out there are morons.

This is the thing about Cotto. Since he got so badly hurt by Corley, any questionable movement after a punch, and people are quick to assume he's hurt like what's happening here and what happened in the Judah fight.
That's the punch I thought he was referring to at first too. It's hard to notice unless you look for it. Cotto got hit on the back of the head and was staggered for a brief second. Nothing to fuss about.

They compare him to LaMotta in the sense that he goes out and keeps pressuring no matter what. And they both have comparable determination and heart.

They didn't say Cotto was the same defensively as LaMotta. If they did they were wrong, and I'd like to see evidence of them saying just that. Watch some video of LaMotta, the guy walked in with his hands down and literally ate punches. Cotto always has his hands up, and slips punches. Like I said before he gets caught when he's attempting to punch, or exchanges too long with faster guys.

Malignaggi(a lesser opponent than Mosley) was able to land pillow punch combinations at will and he even staggered Cotto. Can you imagine what's going to happen when a hard puncher like Mosley lands combinations at will on Cotto. I like Cotto, but with his Jake LaMotta type style and terrible defense he is gonna get exposed badly and Shane Mosley is the guy to expose him. The Puerto Rican fans at MSG are gonna be in for a big surprise, but I really won't be surprised at all.
with his excellent offense. mosley's an old fighter at 35. hell, luis collazo was able to land a few very noticable and eyebrow-raising punches on mosley's noggin. mosley CAN be hurt and cotto's an expert at hurting ppl. mosley still has a chance to win of course, but it think cotto's on the rise and mosley's on the fall.

Paulie Malinaggi can't stagger ANYBODY. Period. Dude has like 5 knockouts, probably against idiotic bums who he was fighting to get his name up there.

Lol. Betting points here is one thing, betting paychecks, you obviously dont love yourself or your family. Betting on this fight is ****** at best. It could go either way. Cotto HAS the tools to HURT Mosley, I doubt to KO him but he can hurt him. Mosley as well can break thru his offense and hurt AND KO Cotto. This is one of these fights, unlike Mayweather - Hatton ( that we all know that Mayweather is far superior in every sense of the way than Hatton ). Let's just wait and see.

lamotta's defense may have ****** in the late rounds against robinson in fight #6, and late in his career, but for most of his career he was regarded as pretty clever at using his shoulder and hiding behind it.
