I still maintain that Quartey beat Oscar 8 rounds to 4, at worst 7-5. I cant see Oscar winning 6 rounds when he ate Quartey's jabs from rounds 7-11 exactly like the Mayweather fight. The only difference is he closed the show against Quartey, so it gives people the impression that Oscar won.

Matter of fact if you take away the 12th round, it was almost a dominating performance by Quartey.

Let me remind you of something, De La Hoya was nearly unbeatable at 135 and 140, and still an atg at 147. He was MUCH better at those weights than Pacquaio, Barrera, Marquez, Morales, etc. have been at any weights. Study up before you post kids. These are all fighters who have had exciting battles with each other, but none were even close to as dominant as de La Hoya was.

*Mosley had of course fallen from that spot before the second fight
He also had controversial winners against fighters who woeren't p4p #1 at the time. So I'd shut it if I were you.

Cross dressing ***** ****ing, hoe ass 1 fight per year having De La Hoya has been a true warrior since his first fight not only has he taken the hardest fights out there but his done it with only 4-5 months to train since 2001--- he's a businessman first a fighter second and his still on top of the game.. The highest grossing PPV fighter ever and his still punching ODLH is defintely a ATG!

it was a close fight that i scored for quartey. i saw it similar to you, but i gave oscar one of those rounds from 7-11. i think round 10. round 6 was also a quartey round when both guys went down because all you have to do is watch the remainder of the round after the 2 kds to see who easily controlled that round. it was quartey.

i don't consider it dominating though. when a guy wins by a point or 2 on my card (or even a couple more), i can't call it dominating

i wish dlh were more active. it would be better for the sport if he were a full-time fighter.

i guess it's hard for him to get motivated for fights at this stage of his career unless it's a big event or a trash talker. hence how fat he looked versus sturm.

Aye, Oscar has only lost to good fighters... but he was lucky to escape w/ W's over Bazooka and Sturm.

You don't have to be a "kid" to see that all of those guys have a chance against prime Oscar. But, I'm not running down Oscar here. Those are all great fighters. Oscar in his prime 135-147 was masterful. All you have to do is watch those fights to see what he's lost. He is most definitely over the hill, and those old clips prove it.

Excellent point. But, to be fair all champs are entitled to a bad night. They've all had them. Sturm was Oscar's.

Oh I forget. DLH hasnt beaten a p4p fighter when he fought them.

Pac has two and a draw, MAB has two, Morales has two, JMM has one and a draw.

All BETTER fighters. And you bet these guys wouldnt have a hard time p4p against Bazooka or The German Journeyman.
