Barrera lost to mediocre fighters in his own classes.

De La Hoya lost to all-time greats and beat some as well. And he dominated everyone below 147.

yep, oscar was and still is great......he was better than JMM, MAB, Morales and Pacquiao at 130(and P4P as well)....He would KO all of them(except maybe Morales who had a granite chin and is the bigger of the lot).....ugly....

I would favor DLH in this one..

unfortunately he never beat a top 10 p4per without a controversial decision.

i would have to agree though that oscar is greater than barrera

at least not by the boxing magazines like the ring.

everyone has their own list though.

Doubt it... an article said their business partnership would create too big of a conflict of interest.

it was a double post. i added the last part about everyone having their own list, because in the words of george foreman, "i'm not into that p4p junk".

but boxing publications like the ring did not have j.c. chavez in the top 10 p4p when he fought oscar.

The Thread originator said that all of DLH's losses came to a p4p top 10 fighters, who were either P4P before or after they beat him

You claimed that DLH never beat a P4P top 10 without a controversial....

                      I said JCC...

You said "chavez was not ranked in the top 10 p4p"

                      I laughed!

Does that sum it up for you?

I don't remember the year Chaves was ranked as P4P#1 by The Ring Magazine.
                      Does it defeat your argument.

                      I rest my case
