1) For the longest while, Jones did not need calzaghe. RJJ was p4p ranked, "undefeated", and had negotiating leverage. Why the fuqq would he "call out" some mildly obscure Euro champion?

2) Funny how the issue is now Jones not calling out JC. When Vince called out Tszyu repeatedly, you said that KT had no obligation to fight him.

3) As the "lesser" fighter, wasn't the burden on JC to make concessions or to pursue a fight? Much like Hatton has done? Or like PBF did vs DLH?

I am almost positive that isn't true. I remember hearing Jones telling Calzaghe he would fight Calzaghe for 40/60 (with Cal getting the bigger share!) and he would go over to wales to fight him! Calzaghe turned it down by saying something of the likes of "he get's knocked down to much".
