Duran dominated lightweight, moved up and had a patchy career, but he beat some big names above the weight class he domainted, although he never domainted another weight class.

Mayweather dominated Super Featherweight, moved up and has had a patchy career, where he has beaten some big names above the weight class he dominated, although he never really dominated another weight class.

Duran is without a question higher than Mayweather on my list, but yall have too high of standards sometimes. it doesnt happen often at all that a fighter can dominate a weight class and then go on to beat big names 3 or 4 weight classes above their best weight class.

that that Dirty Gomez guy was very on-point when he said it mattered a lot on what Hatton did after the fight. Hatton's accomplishments to this point already would make him a really good win if Mayweather won, but it will be an even better win if Hatton goes on to take over a division again.

but if Floyd retires right after the Hatton fight, I will not consider him an ATG out of spite, haha. I still want him to fight at least the winner of Cotto-Mosley, and some other big fights too.

Mayweather is already a great fighter in HIS time. He's also smart, he won't fight Cotto unless Cotto shows a ***** in his armor. He'll beat Hatton because styles make fights and Hattons staight ahead style is made for Mayweather and he doesn't possess the one punch knockout power as a welterweight that Cotto does. It comes down to money and risk simple as that and whether we like it or not Mayweather is now in the same catbird seat Dela Hoya has been in for years so he can pick and choose his opponents to minimize risk and maximize profits.

ricky has as good a shot as anybody to beat floyd.fact is when floyd isn't boxing throwing one punch every ten seconds he's on his tricycle or clinching, ricky might be an over clincher but at least he'll be close enough to floyd to hit him.
