This should end up pretty good.... He will show you Floyd Judah did twice as good as Cotto Judah did.

Pretty Boy's latest PPV draws least of his three cards

Floyd Mayweather's shutout victory against Carlos Baldomir to win the world welterweight championship last Saturday night in Las Vegas generated 325,000 pay-per-view buys, HBO announced Friday.

The fight, which cost $49.95, generated $16.3 million in television revenue, but was the weakest performing of the three cards Mayweather has headlined on HBO PPV.

Both of his previous HBO PPV fights, which cost $44.95, did more business.

Mayweather's lopsided decision win against Zab Judah in April generated 374,000 buys and $16.8 million in revenue and his June 2005 destruction of Arturo Gatti to win a junior welterweight belt generated 365,000 buys and $16.5 million.

Despite the dropoff in sales, HBO put a positive spin on the total.

"We're very pleased with Mayweather's PPV performance, especially given that Baldomir had little previous exposure in the US," HBO PPV's Mark Taffet said.

Baldomir's only previous U.S. exposure came in his January upset of Judah to win the welterweight title and his July knockout of Gatti in his first defense.

Mayweather's weak number probably won't bolster his case during ongoing negotiations to fight junior middleweight titlist Oscar De La Hoya in May. De La Hoya, who has given Mayweather a Monday night deadline to accept an offer, has been a box-office star for years.

He generated a surprisingly high 925,000 buys when he beat Ricardo Mayorga in May.

Mayweather promoter Dan Goossen pointed out that when De La Hoya fought lesser-known opponents, he didn't always do big pay-per-view business. Goossen said he was pleased with Mayweather's pay-per-view performance.

"These numbers are very reflective of the numbers generated by Oscar when he did not have the well-known name challenger in the other corner, which obviously speaks volumes of Floyd's star power," Goossen said.

Mayweather-Baldomir will be replayed Saturday night before HBO's live coverage of the Wladimir Klitschko-Calvin Brock heavyweight title fight.

Floyd in my eyes is already an all time great, he's beaten enough credible names and has done it in ways that are just astonishing, I thought Roy made it look easy but damn Floyd is a mastermind, the guys he toyed with were actually world champions believe it or not, you may not respect them but they still had recognized titles and he still blatantly outclassed them.. I might be crazy to some of you but one thing is for sure I have yet to see someone else in any of these divisions dominate an opponent yet not even lump them up just negates any attempt they make in the fight to be effective and land something then sticks his tounge out as if to say "thats all you got *****?", Floyd is already an ATG, he could have retired after the De La Hoya fight and I wouldn't have paid it no nevermind because he fought his fair share.. 100

roy beat bernard hopkins for a middleweight title and james toney for a super middleweight title.

as far as the judah mayweather ,and judah cotto numbers are concerned o new it would be more not twice as much like money said.

In my eyes, Floyd can only go down in this fight. Beating a mediocre fighter like Hatton means little. Losing to a guy of Hatton's calibre would knock him down a peg unless he avenges it.

Anybody that remains undefeated after 30 fights has a title and is recongized through out the world is not mediocre..... People keep tryin to bring Hattons status down but just because his fighting somone just as good or better doesnt take anything from him, this will be a close fight, closer
then Castillo V Mayweather and even though i predict Floyd will style on this fool, im almost certain Hatton will land more shots then any other opponent PBF has faced!

Gatti Floyd did 340k in ppv buys I believe. Cotto Judah did more towards 200-250k in ppv buys. Let's see how Cotto does with a name like Mosley alongside with him, that will say alot about how his star power has grown.

                      Mayweather - Judah did 390K.

                      Cotto-Judah did 180K.

Note: you will see some Arum reports of 225K for Cotto-Judah. That is wrong. Arum was lying.

                      Also, Cotto-Malignaggi did about 100K.
