Kermit Cintron-Paul Williams Agreement Reached

Nice to see Paul Williams will get back in the ring and against a good opponent in Cintron. He could have taken an easy fight for his first defense, but it seems he wants to fight some of the best and plus he could have two belts. It's a dangerous fight because Cintron can punch and has decent size and length himself. At this moment I pick Williams by a close UD. Williams doesn't have that punching power for the KO, but he'll do what he did in the Margarito fight and thats use his length and volume of punches to keep Cintron off of him. It's like he uses his abundance of punches as his defense. Hopefully this fight comes through, should be another exciting one in the WW division.

On point with this comment except I have to disagree with Williams inability to K.O Cintron. That is a definite possibility. Especially with his high-punch output.

Williams by TKO. Kermit doesn't have the jaw of Margarito, but he has more power. Williams' reach is going to give him the edge. His very good head movement will allow him to avoid Kermit's toxic right hand, and Paul is going to decimate him on the inside with uppercuts and right hooks. All of that, and Kermit has never beaten anybody yet. Williams has one quality win so far, and I think he's younger than Kermit. I know he has more fights under his belt. I also know that Kermit hasn't been boxing very long. Williams has every edge in this fight except for straight forward power. I don't give Kermit much more than a puncher's chance. He hasn't proven he belongs amoungst the elite yet, and I don't think he will against Paul Williams.

i think Kermit will fight Williams smart. That is don't chase him, cut off the ring, when Williams runs, stop, back up and let him come forward so Cintrons right hands are effective. Cintron by unanimous decicion.

Yeah, there better be experianced judges. But i think Cintrons power will get Williams to stay on defence.
