Both defeated Walter Dario Matthysse. Williams needed 10 rounds, Cintron destroyed Matthysse in 2 rounds.

It's sad for boxing fans to see these two battle before having the chance of a bigger fight. I believe Cotto, Mosley and Mayweather Jr. would had had a difficult fight agaisnt these two due the their styles and height. How to reach Williams when he is throwing over 100 punches per round while he can keep distance??? Cotto and MWjr. could have problems with him. The same thing with Cintron, who is pretty tall and has a devastating punch. It is hard to predict a winner here. But I believe the "new" Cintron should be able to win this fight by KO. If it goes all the way, Williams will have the advantage like he did with Margarito.
Well said, and if Pwil does lose I really hope people dont say he was exposed and get down on him, because this guy should be in the picture for a while. Both these guys should, win or lose, because the are the best talent out there, and should be commended for fighting one another. I honestly believe these two are the biggest threats in the WW division, and the biggest threats to one another and it's rare these days to see these kinds of fighters versus each other.

Willaims by UD or late stoppage.
The Punisher will get KO'd in this fight. He likes to fight at a distance thats also good for Cintron to get extension on his punches and I think Cintron has got too much power for Williams to absorb.

The funny part of the talk around here is that I personally consider Mayweather Jr. the UNDEDOG agaisnt Cotto, and Paul Williams... and he is well aware of it. If Cotto beats Mosley and Cintron beats Williams. I see Mayweather Jr running away from Cotto to fight Cintron, as he may think that Cintron is like Hatton, "MORE MONEY IN THE BANK".

The pathetic part of all the talk around here is that there is a good chance that if the above scenario becomes reality... I will hate to see Kermit "The Killer" Cintron giving Mayweather Jr. his first loss instead of Cotto getting the Honors as Tito Trinidad did with Oscar de La Hoya. A well trained Cintron can pull an upset over MayWeather.

If Cotto wins on NOV 10th, I don't think there will be another boxer who will want to face him. Mosley is a top boxer, not an easy stepping stone. In my opinion, Cotto graduated as a TOP BOXER agaisnt Judah. But a win over Mosley, should be enough to be consider as an ELITE BOXER. Too bad Kermit Cintron faced Margarito without enough experience, cause an UnDefeated Cotto vs. an UnDefeated Cintron would had been THE FIGHT OF ALL FIGHTS.

I just hope Cotto and Cintron win their respective fights, so fans may benefit from the future bouts. I also pray for Oscar de La Hoya to stay away from the WELTERWEIGHTs in order for the fans to get REAL FIGHTS, and not another pre-prepared-arranged WWE-like fight like he had with Mayweather Jr. months ago. As long as De La Hoya's money keeps tempting young fighters for ****** pay-per-view fights, WE THE FANS WILL KEEP LOSING. BOXING, AS A SPORT LOSES TOO.

Imagine this nightmare... Hattons beats MayWeather Jr. (you never know) and he goes and fights De La Hoya... instead of Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Cintron, Mosley, and so on.... YIKES!!!

I'm going with Williams. Appears to have the faster hands. And Cintron's power will be offset from the onslaught of punches coming back at him. Plus Williams really uses the jab effectively. And Paul has a hell of a chin. You don't believe me watch any of his fights especially the Margarito fight. This guy eats punches with no problem.
