i think he would do very well. any heavyweight that has skills and massive power like Vladimer will perform well in any era. he just needs to be more elusive and less clumbsy when someone trys to hit his chin.

What about a prime Larry Holmes? Does he not count as one of the all time greats?
I have never seen this Russian box so i am only asking here.

i would say guys with good jabs and good movement would be able to beat wlad a ali holmes or liston with there good jabs would take away wlad rhythm. plus a guy like liston would scare the **** out of wlad in the stare down and he would break down mentally. I think wlad would do well against the smaller heavyweights though. someone said that you can chang your mentality i wouldn’t agree with that.

He definitely has a chin from the wars he had with Bowe, so he would of took some of Wlad's best punches and still keep coming, on top of that his handspeed was insanely fast, even faster then Wlad. Holyfield in in his prime would go to war with Wlad, the question is would Wlad kept fighting. You guy's are overrating Wlad he has beaten no one great.
not,,,,,your overrating holyfield. he was a warrior but struggled in many of his fights including the ancient larry holmes and bert cooper

holyfield in his hw prime would have annihilated wlad, just like he annihilated the 42 year olds foreman and holmes, alex stewart, the larger rid**** bowe, the journeyman bert cooper, and the chinny former lhw michael moorer.

sam peter is a strong heavyweight but i dont think he is a massive puncher in the liston or foreman mold.

You do know Holyfield lost 2 out of 3 fights with Rid**** Bowe right?

i think wlad would be a very live underdog against larry.

i would not be surprised one bit if a prime holmes lost to wlad.
