I am suprised it took 9 posts for WLAD to post in this thread. I say the only top heavyweight Wlad could take care of is Liston, he could keep liston at a distance with that worldclass jab of his and get the KO. The others are some of the greatest to ever strap on a pair of gloves so they could beat him.

liston had a murderous jab of his own and an even longer reach than wlad.

i like liston's chances against wlad than i do some of the smaller great hws like frazier, marciano, and dempsey.

Liston had good power too, he could take advantage of the chin Wlad's momma gave him

how he does he do against great hws of the past like dempsey, louis, lewis, tyson, ali, liston, foreman, frazier, rocky, etc..?
          Wlad KOs all of them.
Ali knocked out Foreman with his jab and straight right.
Wlad can do it quicker, he's a lot more powerful than Ali.
Liston got knocked out by Ali, Wlad would do to him and he did to Ray Austin.
He'd KO Louis, Dempsey and Rocky with ease. After all, he would be like fighting little kids compared to his size. (talking about Louis, Dempsey and Rocky)
Frazier wouldn't even be a real challenge to Wlad. A focused Wlad knocks him out in 1-2 rounds at most.
All those overrated old school fighters got nothing on Wlad. You're mixing up greatness with skill.
Ali was the greatest but not the best boxer of all time. Believe in your own bull**** but in deep down everybody knows these old school fighters wouldn't stand much of a chance with the likes of Vitali, Lewis, Wlad, these are big guys that can move and hurt you big time. 70s fighters never seen these kind of athletes, didn't even imagine them. Think logically, nobody in their right mind would bet on Rocky or Frazier to beat Wlad. End of thread.

In his current form, I think he could beat Dempsey, Marciano and Frasier, but he doesn't have the mobility and quickness to deal with Ali or Louis, and I think enough questions remain about his jaw to give him much of a chance against Liston or a young Foreman, a pickem with Lewis.

i respect your opinion however i have to disagree regarding vitali.

quitali can't even beat chris byrd, a smw who ate his way to hw. nor could he beat an old out of shape lennox lewis. lewis in his prime lost 5 of 12 rounds to an old holyfield, who was a natural cruiserweight and was no bigger than guys like ali and liston, and only marginally bigger than louis.

True, but that's a two way street. And, most of the all time greats had great chins as well. That's why Wlad doesn't make the list. I think his brother is better.

I honestly think Ali would have a tough ass time with Wladimir Wlad is big with a great jab and quick hands I kind of see the Wlad vs Byrd fight just not quite as one-sided. Foreman would have gotten Wlad out quick, too much power and his jab was mean. I think Louis and Frazier get schooled for about 3rds then taken out they couldnt touch him hed jab their heads off. Young Mike would eventually catch him and probably put him to sleep. Lewis is 50-50 maybe 55-45 for Lewis

They will all beat him because he doesn't have the heart of a champion. Every time he has been put to the test he has failed.
