That was a one-off freak bodyshot.
Oscar has gone alot of rounds with alot of punchers: Shane twice, Trinidad, vargas, Quartey, Hopkins, Sturm, mayorga, etc.
That is about 90 rounds . How many times have you seen Oscar on '***** street" ?Comment

Sweet line.Hatton is to small and has the wrong style to beat the elite welterweights. When he fought Collazo he won the decision but took a beating. Collazo is no Mayweather. Hatton's claim to fame was beating an old Kosta Tzyzu who was washed up before that fight and wasn't a welterweight anyway. I like Hatton and am glad he's getting a good payday but while you can never say a fighter has no chance I would say that this would be a big upset if Hatton wins. Matador against the bull and in this case the matador is bigger and faster than the bull. Mayweather by lopsided decisionComment

Can we get a prediction from a boxer who doesn't suck ass now? Berto is going to get ko'd soon if he ups his competition up anymore. Hell, he was hurt by the last guy he fought. Kermit Cintron would destroy berto.Comment

Mosley dosen't like Mayweather, he only said that because he wants Mayweather to win so he can kick his ass in a potential superfight. I like Mosley, but he has never been that smart.
Berto is the next Nostradamus

"Mayweather vs. Hatton"
"What The Experts Are Saying"
The Ring called Andre Berto an expert.. He should be qualified regardless. He is an active professional fighting in the 147 pound weight class. He may be one of the most qualified of all the experts in certain technical sense.
I'd say he's a little more qualified than any of us..Comment

Paul Williams (welterwight contender): "I'll go with Floyd. It will be competitive, if Hatton goes after him. Getting close to Floyd could be a problem. Hatton can't outbox Floyd; he'll have to press him. But Floyd won't be there to be pressed. If the ref will let Hatton do what he's done in the past, it will be a close fight. I do give Hatton a chance. Everyone who goes in the ring has a chance. It could only take one punch to change a fight."Comment

Boxingscene should hire Paulie Malignaggi as a guest celebrity columnist to especially make predictions on upcoming fights. I feel Paulie is one of the smartest and most articulate fighters around who in an unbiased manner breaks fights down and give great predictions. I love hearing that guy's thoughts on fights.
Make it happen boxingscene!Comment
