premature but the last Calzaghe stoppage was even more premature compare to this.
This is why Steve Smoger needs to be the model for officials to follow. It looked like he was hurt, but giving him another second or two could've proven that he was fine. He was stunned with the right hook, but the following two punches only grazed him and then he seemed to be ok as the ref stopped it.

They were saying it was the fastest KO on ShoBox beating Sechew and Allen Green. Both of those were better than this one.

The topic creator made it sound like robbery. Was it? I want to see this fight, but I'm feeling it was robbery and that Walker got robbed of his undefeated record.

There was a moment where you could see why the fight was stopped, but it was definitely premature. I don't know about robbed, but he should have been giving a little more time.

It might had been early, I think it was, but I doubt he came back from that. You don't respond with defense or throwing back, it's your fault if you get stopped.

I agree it doesn't help when Walker doesn't throw back after many shots by Wilson.

Well, why didn't the ref allow wilson to ko walker if walker was seriously hurt. I'm calling bullcrap. Like the stoppages in taylor/pavlik, and pavlik/miranda were obviously fair since the two men were going down and looked exhausted. This is only the first round of the fight, what kind of idiotic ref stops a fight this early and robs Wilson of a real ko/tko. So, this fight didn't just hurt Walker but hurt Wilson at the same time since he had a crappy ref... I hate outcomes like this in boxing, when the ref ruins the fight.

It think the referee did a great job in stopping it. That "benefit of the doubt" is bull****. The guy had his hands DOWN, was NOT reacting, and just STANDING there TAKING hits to his face. This is not wrestling, in this sport you could get SERIOUSLY hurt and if someone does the beef is on the referee. **** happens, I hated how it went, I had my beers and hot wings ready, and in 15 seconds done. <3 this sport.

Wilson Stuns Travis Walker in 15-Seconds

The heavyweights never cease to amaze me. In an absolute shocker, undefeated Travis Walker (25-1-1, 19 KOs), a highly regarded prospect, was stopped by T.J. Wilson (12-1, 8 KOs) in 15-seconds of the first round in the main event of a ShoBox card from the Raley Field in Sacramento, California.

hmmm sounds kinda weird to me....
why would smoger not stop pavlik taylor when pavlik was so hurt and he clearly was, and then make another good decision later on in the fight to stop it, then call this one off too early.... i wanna see it before i judge though.... just sounded out of character for smoger
