T.J. wilson TKOd Travis Walker in 15 seconds on what looked to be a terrible stoppage. It's not too late to see the whole fight replayed on showtime since it lasted 15 seconds.
Wilson Stuns Travis Walker in 15-Seconds

Yep.
Walkers hands were at his waists. The punches looked like they just momentarily stunned him but with his hands down and neck out, I can see how it got stopped.Comment

Yeah I can see how it was stopped, but I don't think he was terribly hurt. He should've waited a couple more seconds to see if he'd fight back. But it's easy for me to say that watching the fight on tv. Who nows what the ref saw in the ring.Comment

Sounds like a bs stoppage. Just looked up walkers record and he is undefeated and it sounds like he was robbed. You give a man who is undefeated a benefit of the doubt. How you make it sound, it sounds like Wilson didn't seriously hurt him. Sounds like he might have stunned him for brief second, kind of like what zab judah did to Cotto. And that fight wasn't prematurely stopped.Last edited by EliteSoldier; 10-19-2007, 11:18 PM.Comment

I agree .. it looked like he was out on his feet for a moment though he recovered quickly.
premature but the last Calzaghe stoppage was even more premature compare to this.Comment

That was a mismatch anyways, this fight was not. Thats the difference between those two fights. And there was no question that Joe Calzaghe was going to end up koing Manfredo, Manfredo got hurt by feather fisted Sergio Mora for christ sakes. Would have been good if that douche ref didn't stop that fight either because I wanted to see peter manfredos weak chin on the ground.Comment

I mean Wilson was throwing some bombs and Walker did look for a moment to be out on his feet, but the ref should have let it go on at least a little longer. Looks like that Walker/Arreola fight is not going to happen now.Comment
